Diazo Phototool
Star Coating can look back at many years of experience in the production of Diazo duplication films (microfilms). The Amofilm® brand is a familiar term throughout the world.
The Amofilm® Diazo Phototool films for the production of printed circuit boards are based on modern technology. They are used in the exposure process as a template for the production of printed circuit boards / PCBs.
The Diazo Phototool is used to expose dry film and solder masks; the template, the Phototool, is copied from a master film (silver halide) onto the Star Coating Diazo Phototool films.
There are two versions available: clear and semi-matt. Both are characterised by high mechanical and chemical resistance, high UV density (D-max) and high transparency at exposed spots (D-min), they are antistatic and dimensionally stable.
Clear film is used for demanding requirements in terms of resolution; it becomes semi-matt through the rapid vacuum build-up in the exposure unit and therefore has a high level of runability.
